Our Story
A family built on faith
Sabka Malik Ek — there is one God for all. From this single teaching of Sai Baba, SaiAshraya Family was born.

Founder
Ganesh Dalvi
In 2013, Ganesh Dalvi opened the doors of his modest home in Shirdi to children who had nowhere else to go. Inspired by the lifelong service of Sai Baba, he committed himself to a single, simple promise: no one in front of him would ever go hungry, or be alone.
From a handful of children, that promise has grown into SaiAshraya Family — a daily home for nearly 200 souls including orphaned children, destitute women, the elderly, and the disabled.
Our mission
To shelter, feed, and care for those abandoned by society — without distinction of caste, religion, age, or ability. To make Sai Baba's teaching of universal kinship real, in three meals a day and a bed at night.
What we provide
- Shelter — a permanent home, not a stop along the way.
- Three meals a day — cooked fresh, eaten together.
- Medical care — including for residents with special needs.
- Education — for every child who walks through our doors.
- Dignity — quiet, daily, and unconditional.
